Methodik und Didaktik im Förderschwerpunkt emotionale und soziale Entwicklung

Project description

The InDigO project "Learning, developing and disseminating inclusion and digitalisation in the OER format" is working with seven universities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia to investigate how and under what conditions teachers on teacher training courses can integrate the resources on inclusion and inclusive media education that are freely accessible via ORCA.nrw into their teaching.

The cross-cutting topics of inclusion and digitalisation are current and mandatory components of teacher training courses, both in educational science and in the didactics of all types of schools. The project aims to gain fundamental, transferable insights into the conditions for success for a new "culture of sharing" of digital resources by lecturers and students. Specifically, "InDigO" involves the formation of cross-university collaborations between teachers and students, so-called "learning communities". Student teachers work in teams on the OER materials available on ORCA.nrw to promote inclusion and digitalisation-related skills and develop them further. As part of a design and development-oriented research approach for the professionalisation area of "inclusion", the aim is to investigate how the desired innovation in university teaching can be implemented in concrete terms, which needs must be taken into account by students and teachers alike and which factors contribute to successful learning processes for future teachers, and to transfer this into a sustainable usage concept.
